Samuel R. Filippone Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Samuel R. Filippone Memorial Endowed Scholarship is named in memory of Sam Filippone, an associate professor of mathematics at UW-Parkside. He began teaching at UW-Parkside in 1968 and retired in 1988 after 31 years of service to the University and its predecessor, Wisconsin Center System, in Racine and Kenosha. The scholarship is awarded to a continuing student, with a major or concentration in mathematics, teacher education, or computer science. He/she may be either a full or a part-time student with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better. Part-time students should have twelve or more accumulated credits to base their grade point average on.
